"All I ask is for the movement to continue.." -- Harvey Milk
JOIN US for The Queer Agenda in the Northern San Joaquin Valley Action Forum.
CNC Education Fund will convene an inclusive group of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community members focused on people of color, to explore the current trends of public policy in Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. We are pleased to share we will be joined by special guest, California State Assemblymember Susan Talamantes Eggman.
This call to action will examine the under-representation of queer people in politics and discuss workable solutions to develop more inclusive and just public policies that impact the queer community in The Central Valley. Together through group discussions and an expert panel, we will work to identify solutions for what needs to happen in order for LGBT community members to take a stronger role in the shaping of public policy over the next five years.
Join CNC Education Fund as we work together to ensure our city and county decision making bodies (with an emphasis on boards and commissions) more accurately reflect the values and priorities for our families.
